WHAT IS CONTRA DANCE?
Contra is New England-style barn dance done in two long lines
to LIVE Celtic-infused music. It's lots of fun, easy-to-learn and there's
no fancy footwork. Every dance is taught from scratch and a caller prompts
you throughout. No partner is needed. Queer Contra is gender-role-free,
so dance with whomever you want.

Beginners are welcome!
But please join us for Contra 101 at the beginning of the dance.

Dances are monthly.
See our
calendar for dates and locations.
Admission: $10.00 (or pay what you can)
